US President Donald Trump noted that Russia is coping with the restrictions and called Vladimir Putin a professional in this context, RIA Novosti reports, quoted by Focus.
"He (Putin) managed to cope with the sanctions“, Trump commented to reporters on board Air Force One.
According to him, the topic of sanctions was raised in a recent conversation with his Russian counterpart.
"We talked a lot about the sanctions, yes. I wouldn't say he (Putin) is enthusiastic about them. He understands that sanctions may follow, he's a professional,", Trump said.
