Moscow Mayor: Russian Army Shoots Down Three Ukrainian Drones Aimed at Capital  - 1

Russian air defenses have shot down three Ukrainian drones aimed at Moscow today, said the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.

Emergency services are working at the sites where debris from the drones fell, Sobyanin explained, quoted by TASS.

The Russian Defense Ministry also reported that 14 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, and another 8 over the Belgorod region between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Bulgarian time. Both regions border Ukraine.

Reuters could not independently confirm the reports.

Meanwhile, Russia's civil aviation agency Rosaviatsia said flights to and from the airport in Kaluga, a city about 200 km southwest of Moscow, had been temporarily suspended.
