Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that today (July 14) in Kiev he talked with US Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg about strengthening Ukraine's air defense, purchasing weapons and imposing sanctions against Russia, Ukrinform reports, quoted by Focus.
"We had a productive conversation. We talked about the path to peace and what we can practically do together to get closer to it. This includes strengthening Ukraine's air defense, joint production and purchase of defense weapons together with Europe. And, of course, sanctions against Russia and those who help it,” Zelensky said in a Telegram post.
The Ukrainian president added that he hoped for the leadership of the United States, saying that “it is clear that Moscow will not stop unless its inadequate ambitions are stopped by force.”
