President Donald Trump said that the United States will send additional Patriot air defense missiles and other "very sophisticated" military equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, expressing his disappointment with the behavior of Russian President Vladimir Putin in his country's three-year war against Ukraine, reports Focus.
"I am very disappointed with President (Vladimir) Putin. I thought he was a man who believed in what he said, and he talks so beautifully and then he bombs people at night. We don't like that," the president told reporters at Joint Base Andrews on Sunday after returning from the Club World Cup final.
Trump did not rule out unveiling new sanctions when he meets with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the White House on Monday, noting that he plans to send more weapons to Ukraine.
