Moscow again saw aggressive militarism in Europe! The Kremlin has again threatened to respond with nuclear weapons - 1

The Kremlin accused European countries of aggressive militarism and again hinted that Russia could use nuclear weapons, DPA and TASS reported, quoted by BTA.

European countries are spending large sums of money on weapons to maintain the war in Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. "Of course, against the backdrop of such an emotional state, bordering on irrationality, that reigns on the European continent, it is very difficult to predict anything", he added.

Peskov also drew attention to the recently changed Russian nuclear doctrine, according to which even "incitement" of non-nuclear states by nuclear powers to take hostile action against Russia constitutes an act of aggression.

Great Britain and France are the two nuclear powers in Europe, DPA recalls. According to the agency, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, ordered by President Vladimir Putin, Russian officials have repeatedly made nuclear threats aimed at discouraging Western support for Kiev.

Although Russia continues to refuse to compromise in the talks to end the conflict, Peskov again blamed Ukraine for the lack of progress and called on all parties to put pressure on Kiev to return to the negotiating table, DPA notes.

The last round of talks took place in Istanbul in June, resulting in a series of prisoner exchanges. No new talks are currently scheduled. On Monday, Donald Trump announced new arms deliveries to Ukraine, including Patriot air defense missiles, which will be paid for by European NATO countries.

Peskov warned that sponsoring Kiev is expensive for EU countries and at this rate, "there will be nothing left for citizens," TASS notes.

A conversation between Presidents Putin and Trump is not planned yet, but it could be organized very quickly, the Kremlin spokesman added. He stressed that Moscow is closely following the discussion on the supply of long-range missiles to Kiev and described Germany's decision not to supply Taurus missiles for the time being as "a manifestation of the remnants of reason."
