Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Monday future agreements with the United States that he said would make his country stronger, without giving details about what they were, Reuters reported, BTA reports.
He made his statement in parliament, where he was to introduce the new Ukrainian government.
Zelensky also said he would instruct the new government to audit existing defense procurement contracts as part of a drive to have 50% of the country's weapons and military equipment produced in Ukraine.
