US President Donald Trump said today that he will not destroy Elon Musk's companies by taking away their federal subsidies and that he wants the billionaire technology entrepreneur's businesses to survive, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"Everyone claims that I will destroy Elon Musk's companies by taking away some, if not all, of the massive subsidies he receives from the US government. That is not true!", Trump wrote on his social network "Truth Social". "I want Elon and all the businesses in our country to survive," he added.
Trump's statement comes after a public clash with his former close ally on June 5 over the tax-cut and spending bill known as the "big beautiful law".
