Russian President Vladimir Putin said goodbye to his former university colleague and chairman of the Supreme Court of Russia Irina Podnosova, Focus reported.
Vladimir Putin joined the mourners to pay his last respects to Irina Podnosova, the chairman of the Supreme Court of Russia. In footage released by "Izvestia", some observers noticed tears in the Russian president's eyes. Putin laid a bouquet of roses on the coffin and offered condolences to the family.
Irina Podnosova died on July 22 at the age of 71. She had worked as a judge since 1990. In 2020 headed the Judicial Council for Economic Disputes of the Supreme Court. In April 2024, she was appointed President of the Supreme Court.
