Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned last night that his country would respond "more decisively" in the event of new attacks by the US and Israel, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reported.
Araghchi appeared to be reacting to new threats made yesterday by US President Donald Trump. "We have destroyed their nuclear capabilities. They can start again, but if they do, we will destroy them in an instant", Trump said during his stay in Scotland, referring to Iran.
"If aggression is repeated, we will not hesitate to respond more decisively", the Iranian minister wrote in "Ex". "If there are concerns about the possible diversion of our nuclear program for non-peaceful purposes, the military option has proven ineffective, but a negotiated solution could work," he added.
On June 13, Israel launched an unprecedented bombing campaign against Iran, killing senior officials and scientists linked to Iran's nuclear program, as well as hundreds of civilians. Iran responded with missiles and drones fired at Israel. The war lasted 12 days.
The United States, in turn, struck key nuclear facilities at Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.
