Tehran does not believe that enemy threats have passed, said the commander-in-chief of the Iranian army, Major General Amir Khatami, quoted by Iran International.
In front of senior commanders of the army's Ground Forces, he pointed out that "with the miraculous steadfastness of the Iranian people, Israel realized that it had made a strategic mistake", referring to the strikes that the two countries exchanged in June, in which the United States also participated.
According to Khatami, Israel is plotting against Iran "under the illusion that it can harm the Islamic system". He said that the "error in judgment" of Tel Aviv was revealed during the 12-day war.
He warned that the country's adversaries should expect Iran to continue its military and scientific development "with greater determination than ever before."
Furthermore, the commander pointed out that Iran views even a "one percent threat as 100 percent real," signaling that there is no weakening in military readiness, according to him.
