Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz today promised to unleash "ten plagues" on Yemeni Houthi rebels after the army reported a new rocket attack on Israel, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reported.
"The Houthis have fired another rocket at Israel. We will unleash ten plagues on them", Katz wrote on the social network "Ex" - an allusion to the ten plagues of Egypt mentioned in the Bible.
The Israeli army announced this morning that a rocket fired by the Houthis fell in an open area outside Israeli territory, without requiring an airstrike. Yemeni rebels have not yet responded to the statement, but yesterday claimed responsibility for two missile attacks on Israel, which they said had intercepted them.
On Saturday, the Houthis vowed to avenge their prime minister, who was killed last week along with several ministers in an Israeli attack on the capital Sanaa, which they control.
