AvtoVAZ plans to start production of a serial minivan of a new generation, but it will happen at -early after 3-4 years. This is reported by TASS with reference to the company's president Maxim Sokolov.
"The minivan is a prospect for probably the next three, maybe four years. This is a prospect that will depend, among other things, on the market, how receptive it will be to this model. So far, the market actively favors this format and we are in the trend”, the agency quoted Sokolov as saying.
Next year, the company plans to present the minivan only as a concept, the head of AvtoVAZ specified. Previously, AvtoVAZ vice president of sales and marketing Dmitry Kostromin said that the new minivan in the Lada model line will complement the already produced Largus, which, as we know, is a copy of Dacia.
