A 34-year-old man from Chepelare died of an electric shock. This was reported to "Focus" by the spokesperson for the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Smolyan, Elena Stoilova.
"The report about the incident with the deceased man was filed by a 25-year-old woman on September 13 at around 4:00 p.m. He was found in the "Chukara" area near the "Assumption of the Virgin" chapel near Chepelare.
According to initial data, the 34-year-old man, who is from Chepelare, climbed an electric pole and died as a result of an electric shock,“ Stoilova explained.
The body of the deceased has been transported for an autopsy. The causes of the incident are yet to be clarified.
The case is under investigation.
