„For the moment, we are not planning a new vote of no confidence. The next big battle that is coming is over the budget. The warm-up is already underway to raise taxes, freeze incomes, in order to pour into Peevski's coffers”. This was stated in the program „Wake up” by the chairman of the PP, Asen Vassilev.
Regarding the bill that was adopted, to elect the heads of the services by the parliament, without the president's signature, Asen Vassilev commented: „Peevski chose Denyo Denev as the head of the National Security Agency, the president does not sign and now they are looking for a way to take away these powers from the president. The question is whether GERB, BSP and ITN will kneel down”.
“The Anti-Corruption Commission cannot be closed at this point, as we will lose 6 billion euros under the PVU”, said Vassilev.
Regarding the “Customs” case and the return of Pascal, Vassilev said that he has no concerns and if there was something against him, “they would have already been activated”. “We see attempts to slander”, said Vassilev.
The chairman of the PP also stated that on the first working day for the institutions he would check whether the company that started chipping the “yellow paving stones” had a permit.
“What reached me as information and we need to check, while the institutions are working, the company chipped without a single permit. And you know that the “yellow paving stones” are a cultural monument, there must be a permit from the Ministry of Culture, then from the municipality”, said Vassilev.
“Peevski will not be able to “fold us”. There are many people in this country who will not fold. They will work for Bulgaria with a capital B, not for a country with a D”, Vassilev also said.
„About ten days ago in Varna at the protest in defense of Blagomir Kotsev, I stated that the time for words is over, we are moving towards radicalization and actions”, he added.
„And the government can take action. The Minister of Justice should convene the Supreme Judicial Council with one point - for the two chambers to meet and discuss the 6 months written in the Judiciary Act, after which the Prosecutor General becomes illegitimate and a new acting one must be elected. Are they really 6 months, because the judges say it is 6 and change the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, and the prosecutors say it is not 6 months”, Vassilev said.
