The regime in Russia, declared a terrorist regime, condemns those who disagree with it for supporting terrorism. The terrorist shouts “Hold the terrorists!”. This is, in short, the case of the Bulgarian woman arrested in Russia, who wrote comments in support of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” (RDK) - one of the volunteer units composed of Russians fighting on the side of Ukraine and as part of the Ukrainian army. This was written on his Facebook profile by the co-chairman of “Yes, Bulgaria” Ivaylo Mirchev in connection with the case.
"Rositsa Georgieva, who last year expressed support for the RDK and wrote in a comment that Crimea was and will be Ukrainian again, has been sentenced to 3 years in prison in a penal colony for… “public justification of terrorism”. I explain again, for the fans of the Putin regime here - in Russia, for telling the truth and for free speech, they send you to a prison camp. Tomorrow in Russia, they may start arresting and imprisoning for other things. Because they can. And they can, because they do not have a state in the true sense of the word. Not one that works for the citizens. They have a puppet state, subordinate to the sick ambitions of a man who decided to redraw the map of Europe, because he decided so. State apparatuses rarely become puppets overnight. The process is usually smooth enough that citizens do not notice until it is too late. Look carefully around us and think, think with your heads," Mirchev states.
"And speaking of countries - where is our country in this case? Where is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs? Where are the prime ministers - both the formal and the honorary one? Regarding the Bulgarian with dual citizenship mobilized in Ukraine, Borisov said that he would talk to Zelensky. I don't hear him promising such protection here. I have sent questions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about both cases and I expect clear answers about what they have done," Ivaylo Mirchev also writes.
