The deputies of the National Assembly are expected to consider the changes to the laws on SANS, DAR and DATO, which regulate the manner in which the managements of the three agencies are elected.
We recall that at an extraordinary meeting on September 18, the Committee on Internal Security and Public Order considered and adopted the changes with the votes of the ruling majority and "DPS-New Beginning". They provide that the heads of the services are appointed not by presidential decree, but by a vote in parliament.
The changes were introduced after the president refused to appoint the current interim head of DANS, Denyo Denev, as the head.
