"The person with the “unofficial election cash” from the recordings that we all heard and with public data about investors deceived by him, better known as the most unsuccessful finance minister and usurper (editor's note - Assen Vassilev) of the Party of Change, commented today that they allocated 43 million to the Tsarevo municipality in 2023 to clean rivers and ravines and to “build the bridge“.
Such a lie must be answered: earmarked funds were allocated for the restoration of bridges (three in the city, three on the road to Lozenets) and dam walls, but not the funds that were requested for cleaning and correction of the riverbed of the Cherna, Nestinarka, the ravine in Ahtopol, Lozenets, Arapya and others.

"We call on these unstable individuals not to get involved in false PR against the Tsarevo municipality, because even we at the local level are more expertly prepared than their entire top brass and party clique", commented the mayor.
Kirov makes two clarifications: all bridge structures and dam walls, restored after the 2023 disaster, withstood and are structurally sound, despite the greater amount of water. Yes, there are destroyed sidewalks, asphalt, and railings around them during an unprecedented water event. But the main facilities are sound, Kirov states.

The reason for not paying all other funds needed for the correction of ravines and rivers, for cleaning, for the restoration of infrastructure, including over 1 million leva, obligations assumed by the Municipality in the first months after the disaster, when there was no help from the state. is the political instability and chaos into which this unstable person (Assen Vassilev) and his entourage pushed us", the mayor of Tsarevo also stated.
