The two-month grace period has expired, after which, according to the law, the CPC and the NRA will start imposing sanctions for unjustified price increases, incorrect currency conversion and lack of double marking.

The cash registers of merchants must be reset according to the new requirements, and the receipts must show double marking – in levs and euros and fines of 50 to 200 levs will now be imposed for the first violation and up to 800 levs for a second violation.
90 percent, even 95 percent, have already met the requirements for double price indication in their receipts, said Galena Nedkova from the National Revenue Agency - Stara Zagora.
There is no requirement in the law whether it should be indicated first in levs, then in euros, the important thing is that they be of the same amount, explained Vasil Donev from the Consumer Protection Agency - Stara Zagora.
