A Memorandum for cooperation and interaction between the National Company “Railway Infrastructure“ (NRIC), “Electricity System Operator“ EAD (ESO EAD) and “ESO Charge“ will be signed at the Council of Ministers today. The signing of the document marks the beginning of the construction of a network of publicly accessible electric charging stations on the territory of railway stations in the country.
The memorandum will be signed by the General Director of NRIC Alexander Vetskov, the Executive Director of ESO EAD Angelin Tsachev and the Executive Director of „ESO Charge“ EAD Valeri Ruzhin, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov and the Minister of Energy Zhecho Stankov.
The ceremony will take place at 09:00 in the Granite Hall of the Council of Ministers.
The National Company „Railway Infrastructure“ provided free wireless internet in seven large railway stations in the country. Passengers can now use Wi-Fi at stations in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Ruse and Varna.
