The restoration of "Vrana" park continues. After the transfer of its management from the Sofia Municipality to the Regional Administration, dynamic work began on securing and restoring the entire area - from installing a new fence, repairing alleys and video surveillance, removing dangerous vegetation and inspecting the water and electrical systems.
The task facing the regional governor Stefan Arsov is to make the park a preferred place for walking and relaxing for citizens again.
"The restoration activities are going quite well. For the last three months, we have cut out the dangerous vegetation that is on the side of "Tsarigradsko Shose". Now the purchase of bins and benches, the restoration of alleys and the installation of a new fence are pending. "We have done a lot of work in three months and I hope the park will be fully restored," commented Sofia Regional Governor Stefan Arsov on Bulgaria ON AIR.
