Radev has authoritarian attitudes, warned Prof. Bliznashki, referring to personal impressions. "He is the main threat to democracy in Bulgaria with his desire to move towards some kind of authoritarian form of government," said the former caretaker prime minister.
He made a statement about creating a new social contract. Our society has become accustomed to democracy. People want to exercise their rights and freedoms according to the model of other European countries, he noted.
According to him, Bulgaria has its democratic traditions and it is not easy to overcome this with some falsifications of history.
