The deputies begin work by voting on the president's veto on the changes to the Electoral Code. Iliana Yotova returned for review the decision of the National Assembly to limit to 20 polling stations in countries outside the European Union.
The Legal Committee overcame the head of state's veto with the votes of GERB, "Vazrazhdane", ITN and one vote of the BSP. The new chairman of the party, Krum Zarkov, explicitly recommended that the party's representatives in parliament support the president's veto. Their votes in the plenary hall will determine whether the changes to the Electoral Code will come into force or whether we will vote according to the rules so far.
The preliminary program of the parliament also includes a vote on changes in the composition of some of the committees, after the ministers from the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov returned to the plenary hall. It is also planned to vote on the rules for electing the deputy governor of the BNB after the post was vacated by the acting prime minister Andrey Gyurov
