The Court of Appeal in Veliko Tarnovo left in custody Georgi Alexandrov, who is the defendant in the accident in which 12-year-old Siyana died near Telish.
The Veliko Tarnovo magistrates share the conclusion of the Pleven District Court that the real danger of Aleksandrov absconding has not disappeared.
The appeal panel accepts that there is no duration of detention, as well as that the measure of restraint taken "Detention in custody" is not excessively severe and is not beyond a reasonable period, as the defendant's defense claims, BNR reported.
The ruling of the Veliko Tarnovo Court of Appeal is final.
