Today it should become clear whether the compensation measure for individuals due to the increase in fuel prices will be activated.
The National Revenue Agency has already announced that on March 22 and 23, the average prices of gasoline and diesel were 1 euro and 60 cents. If they remain at the same or higher levels for a third consecutive day, the compensation program will be activated.
The aid will be in the amount of 20 euros per month. Yesterday, the Social Assistance Agency published information about applying for it.
In the meantime, it became clear that the Revenue Agency is starting to publish the current average retail prices of fuels on its website daily, as well as monthly statistics on the change in the prices of diesel and A95 gasoline. The information for calculating the average prices will be taken from the fiscal receipts issued for the sale of fuels, which the NRA receives from traders.
