Overnight, the cloudiness over the country will increase and it will be cloudy during the day.
In the morning, rain will begin in Western Bulgaria, which will cover almost the entire country by the evening, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology announced. Snow will fall in the higher parts of the mountains.
In many places, the precipitation will be accompanied by thunderstorms and will be significant in quantity, mainly in Western Bulgaria and the mountainous regions. A moderate, and temporarily strong easterly wind will blow in the Danube Plain and the Upper Thracian Lowland.
Minimum temperatures will be between 4° and 9°, for Sofia – around 6°, maximums in most places - between 11° and 16°, for Sofia – around 12°.
The atmospheric pressure will remain significantly lower than the average for the month.
Cloudy weather will prevail along the Black Sea Coast. After lunch, it will rain along the Southern Black Sea Coast, and in the evening along the Northern Black Sea Coast. A moderate easterly wind will blow.
In the mountains it will be cloudy. There will be snowfall in places above 1400 meters above sea level, and in the lower parts it will rain. A strong and stormy wind will blow from the south-southeast.
Over the weekends it will remain mostly cloudy with precipitation. With the decrease in temperatures, the rain will mix with or temporarily turn into snow in the lower mountainous regions of Western Bulgaria, without retaining snow cover. There is an increased probability that precipitation will be significant in quantity on Sunday in the eastern half of the country.
On Sunday , a moderate northwest wind will blow. Temperatures will remain unchanged; daytime temperatures will be relatively lower on Sunday, when precipitation will be more significant.
