Anton Kutev: There are no State Security agents in "Progressive Bulgaria" - 1

Anton Kutev said in an interview with BNT that during the election campaign against "Progressive Bulgaria" a "foul game" was being played, with pressure coming from two directions - oligarchic circles and accusations of hybrid attacks.

“I think that this period of one month, in which we were quieter, also had an impact. Two forces are playing against us - two assemblies. On the one hand, the oligarchic circles - Borisov and Peevski. They claim that we will replace one oligarchy with another - this is not our goal. We will not destroy Bulgaria, Peevski will not be looking over our shoulder, we will not vote with him“, pointed out Kutev.

According to him, another line of attack is being waged in parallel – that the formation represents a “hybrid Russian attack“.

“Our financing is absolutely clear. People believe in us – our money is Bulgarian and transparent“, he emphasized.

Kutev was categorical that there will be no coalition with representatives of the oligarchic model. “The merging of business with the state creates the type of businessman who drains the state. The oligarchy does not fight with olive oil – it is not done with just talk. If Peevski is removed, another will be put in place, if the system does not change“, he stated.

According to him, real judicial reform cannot happen with the participation of Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski, since “they have no interest in such change“.

In the interview, Kutev also commented on the role of Rumen Radev, expressing confidence in his intentions for reforms. “He could have stepped down as president with a high rating, which is no small thing, but he chose to join this race because of the idea of changing Bulgaria. I am convinced that he cares about his name and would not risk his authority without a serious reason“, said Kutev.

He also emphasized that there are no State Security agents in “Progressive Bulgaria“ and criticized the “assembly”. According to him, the coalition aims for broad support from voters: “That is why we are chasing 50%, and they cannot 10%”, he commented on the PP-DB.
