Pension expenses as of August are more than 8 billion and 800 million euros, the National Social Security Institute announced on the implementation of the State Social Security budget.
Compared to the same period in 2025, pension expenses are 781 million euros more.
The number of pensioners for August 2026 is 2,067,988, which is an increase of 10,036 people compared to August last year. Revenues increase by 476 million euros.
