For the hearing of the Director of the Service "Military Intelligence" Brigadier General Venelin Venev insists from the "Revival" parliamentary group. This was announced at a briefing in the parliament by the chairman of the parliamentary group and party leader Kostadin Kostadinov, reports BNT.

Kostadinov explained that the hearing was related to the experience of Atanas Atanasov, co-chairman of the PG of "We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria" for interference and recruitment of people in military intelligence and in the services, which, according to Kostadinov, "represents an attempt at treason and a crime".
Kostadin Kostadinov stated that from "Vazrazhdane" insist that this be the first item on the work program of the parliament next Wednesday.
"It is obvious that this is a very serious attack on statehood and a very serious attack on the foundation of a country, namely national security. We have said many times that the PP-DB represent a serious threat to national security," said Kostadinov.
He pointed out that from "Revival" will insist on the most rapid and the most rigid measures and the detention of Atanas Atanasov.
On March 27, Atanas Atanasov announced on the air of BNT that he was alerted on several channels by people's representatives from GERB and DPS that military intelligence had sent a file to the prosecutor's office. According to him, the file contained accusations that he and colleagues discussed specific changes in the security services.
