GERB holds the main key to the composition of the "Glavchev" cabinet. Political scientist Slavi Vassilev told BNR this and commented that GERB will decide how much to "release to PP-DB, of Peevski or other people".
The office of Dimitar Glavchev will belong to the rulers, the political scientist was categorical.
Vassilev expressed the opinion that the triple coalition PP-DB - GERB - DPS is about to disintegrate before our eyes, so that after the elections it can possibly come together again under the pretext of national salvation:
"Now that they have essentially removed President Rumen Radev from the political process, they can sit back and spit as much as they want, then hope that no opposition party gets a majority."
According to the political scientist, there is a possibility that we will enter into cyclical elections.
The institutional degradation of the Bulgarian political model is happening before our eyes, Slavi Vasilev also said.
According to him, the resigned Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov committed political seppuku, because:
"Declaring so many politically inappropriate messages in one interview on the eve of early parliamentary elections is like taking three steps back at the start of a 100-meter sprint. Everything he said is full of contradictions. ... Grievous political inadequacy is taking on such dimensions that the Prime Minister - the most powerful political figure in the country - comes out and says he is powerless".
