Regarding the charge brought against the director of the “Customs” Petya Bankova, he said that such an accusation is difficult to prove. “When prosecuting organized criminal groups, other charges are brought against other members of the Criminal Code. The reason for doing it this way is to politically discredit the one who appointed Mrs. Bankova – the Minister of Finance (Asen Vasilev - bel.ed.)”, said Gunev.
According to him, the departure of the chief secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zhivko Kotsev, is due to a misunderstanding with the minister.
