CEC has already approved part of the election papers. It is already a fact that there will be two electoral lists - one for members of the European Parliament and one for people's representatives. This is the first time, in elections "2 in 1" there was always only one. As far as I understand, the reason is so that there will be no confusion when signing and lines will be mixed up. This is what he commented in the “Interview in NOVA News” Polina Vitanova, chairperson of the OIC-Sofia.
In her words, there will now be two points for voting - for the two votes. "With a good organization of the SIC, it is possible for the whole process to go smoothly,", she believes.
Regarding the ballots, Vitanova clarified that they will be different in both length and type. "The mandates are a different number, that is one of the reasons. Their width will probably be different, and the urns will probably be two. It remains to be seen how the machines screen will look like. In Bulgaria and the EU, you can vote by paper and machine for both votes," she emphasized.
