PP-DB Co-Chairman Hristo Ivanov stated that all personnel who they do not enjoy the trust of Delyan Peevski. Thus, he commented on some personnel changes, such as the release of the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Agency, Petar Petrov, and the appointment of Stoyan Temelakiev as Deputy Minister of the Interior, BNR summarized.
"It is clear that all those who do not enjoy Peevski's trust are removed and all those who enjoy Peevski's trust remain or return to their position. You see the same thing in DANS. For the vice-presidents of DANS, who are appointed at the same time, one is removed and the other is left. Why? It is not even a question of why one was removed and the other remained. Because the second enjoys the trust of Peevski", said the leader of "Democratic Bulgaria".
Hristo Ivanov also said that at the beginning of the election campaign PP-DB will propose a clear formula for governing the country after the vote:
"She will naturally step on the agreement that we proposed - as goals and as construction. You may notice that in this agreement Mr. Peevski was absent. This is what became the reason for it to be "blown up" management. We will continue our formula, but that will happen when we have a decision of our collective bodies.
On the topic of the deputy chairman of DANS and former PP-DB MP Petar Petrov, who was released from office, the co-chairman of the association Kiril Petkov pointed out:
"The removed deputy in DANS has the absolutely perfect professional history. He was suspended. The other deputy, if you recall, was the guy who made the "fake" for me a signal regarding electronic voting. We lost 500 thousand votes. Prime Minister Denkov demanded the resignation of this deputy chairman of DANS, who, by the way, worked in KPCONPI on a very special case - the verification of the data from the American government on the subject of "Magnitsky", concerning Mr. Peevski.
