What happened and what the actions were, only colleagues from the Prosecutor's Office can inform you. This was stated by the lawyer of the former Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Iliyan Vassilev, after Kotsev's questioning at the Anti-Corruption Commission.
"Together with lawyer Dokovska, we have no doubts that Zhivko Kotsev has committed absolutely no crime," he added.
"I expect you to be present when Mr. Zhivko Kotsev is acquitted or when the charges against him are dropped," Vassilev addressed the media representatives.
Zivko Kotsev himself left without commenting.
We remind you that the former Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was summoned in connection with the investigation into smuggling in the “Customs” Agency.
Kotsev came together with his lawyers Iliyan Vasilev and Daniela Dokovska and entered the building through a back entrance.
