I look forward to the meeting tomorrow between acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and President Radev to reach an understanding on a third option for foreign minister, other than Stefan Dimitrov and Daniel Mitov. In any case, however, I do not believe that Glavchev will resign if they do not come to an agreement. Such an opinion was expressed by the sociologist Vasil Tonchev on the air of NovaNews, quoted by novini.bg.
According to him, whatever happens tomorrow at the meeting, it will not be a deepening of the political crisis, but a continuation. He added that at the moment it is not entirely clear who is responsible for the official office anyway, as it is “being blurred by everyone”.
According to the sociologist, early parliamentary elections are more likely to complicate the crisis situation than to unravel it, adding that these elections are seen as something “redundant”.
If we have about 2.5 million voters, it will be a success. The main parties will suffer significant losses, which will be smaller for GERB and more significant for “We continue the Change”, Tonchev pointed out.
He stated that the people expect such a change that “puts an end to the outrages in the country.
People want order. They want someone to take responsibility and follow the program for the Eurozone, Schengen, incomes, demography, etc., the sociologist specified and added that at this stage there is no such subject in politics that would attract attention.
On the changes to the Constitution, Vasil Tonchev said that what was created by the deputies was “scandalous”.
