At a regular session, the parliament is expected to vote on first reading salary increases in the Bulgarian army. According to the texts, the salaries of military personnel will increase by an average of 30 percent, Nova TV reported.
If the bill is passed, from January 1, 2025, the total remuneration for the lowest position for a military serviceman will be equal to the average salary for the country. The bill was passed unanimously in the Defense Committee.
