Two parties have submitted a request to delete their registration for the elections. This was stated by the deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission, Rositsa Mateva, quoted by Dariknews.bg.
The spokesperson of the Central Electoral Commission announced that the preparations are on schedule. According to her, important deadlines are expiring today – all parties, coalitions and initiative committees must submit registration documents by 5 pm today. “So far, 24 parties and coalitions have submitted documents and one initiative committee nominated an independent candidate”, she said.
Today is also the deadline for requests to delete registration. Two parties have submitted a request for deletion - "The Right" and "Republicans for Bulgaria".
After their eventual deletion, 20 parties and 11 coalitions will remain. Of the coalitions, 10 are registered for both votes and only one - for a national parliament.
Tomorrow (May 8) at 4 p.m., the lot will be drawn, which will determine the numbers of all parties, coalitions and independent candidates.

Until May 14, Bulgarians abroad can submit applications for voting. So far, 4,193 people have submitted applications for the Euro vote, and 19,448 people for the national elections.
