The resorts along the Northern Black Sea coast welcomed their first tourists. The good weather again this year attracted thousands of tourists for Easter. And apart from foreigners, the native resorts were also preferred by many Bulgarians. And yet, traditionally in “Golden Sands” the majority of guests are from Romania. What makes tourists from our northern neighbor massively choose the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and can we say that Easter has become a symbolic start of the summer season?

„It is very quiet and nice here. "We are coming to the resort for the 4th time," she told NOVA.
It turns out that there are not a few tourists like Neda. “Somewhere around 15 thousand, as we expected. Time was with us. There were many good days and good employment, explained Stanislav Stoyanov, deputy chairman of the Union of Hoteliers in Golden Sands.
Although this year the resort is dominated by guests from our northern neighbor, there are also tourists from Germany. Compared to last year, the complex reports better occupancy. And after Easter, hoteliers are ready to welcome the first vacationers. “We marked a symbolic start of the summer season. Although we have lost the Russian markets, the German markets are poorly represented, also in Israel you know how the situation is, explained Stoyanov.
