A day after it became clear , that President Rumen Radev will not veto the texts with which the deputies changed the Law on Gambling, they were published in today's 42nd issue of the "State Gazette".
The new rules will take effect from Friday – May 17. They prohibit televisions, radios, newspapers and websites from publishing and broadcasting gambling advertisements, with the exception of the broadcasting of the draws of the Bulgarian sports totalizer and the announcements about them.
Along with these changes, the decision of the deputies to determine a maximum overprice of bread of 15% comes into force.
According to experts, however, it is entirely possible that these changes are part of the pre-election campaign of the politicians, and it is not excluded that after a few months the changes in the Law on Gambling and the ceiling on the overprice of bread will be dropped.
