The District Prosecutor's Office-Burgas detained Hristo Petrov for a period of up to 48 hours, accused of causing moderate bodily harm damage caused by hooliganism to a 20-year-old young man
The crime was committed on July 1 in a drinking establishment located on the territory of Camping "Gradina", Sozopol municipality, according to the prosecutor's office.
The detained Hristo Petrov, who is 21 years old, has been working in the Ministry of Internal Affairs since October 25 last year and is on probation. He is a patrol officer.
In order to guarantee objectivity, comprehensiveness and completeness, the supervising prosecutor from the District Prosecutor's Office-Burgas will himself carry out the investigation of the pre-trial proceedings, personally carrying out all investigative and procedural actions necessary to reveal the objective truth.
The District Prosecutor's Office-Burgas is about to submit to the court a request to take a measure of remand "retention in custody" in relation to the accused.
