A partial state of emergency has also been declared in Stara Zagora. Firefighters, volunteers and foresters managed to save people's cottages. Strong winds made it difficult to fight the fire. The mayor of Stara Zagora, Zhivko Todorov, asked for help from the state and for a helicopter to be involved in the extinguishing.
