Hail the size of a walnut hit the village of Gorni Domlyan, Karlovska. The element destroyed the crops and crops of the people in the village. There are no reports of other damages, announced the mayor of the village, Tosho Tomanov.
He said the hail was preceded by a storm and strong winds. It lasted about 30 minutes.
"Everything went white. Vineyards and agricultural production were destroyed. There are floors of houses flooded because people left the windows of their homes open. No one expected that we would be hit by such a prolonged hailstorm," Tomanov told BNT.
