Chaos with the technical inspections of the cars are gone, the acting Minister of Transport and Communications, Georgi Gvozdeikov, told journalists, who got acquainted with the operation of the new control system at the points for annual technical inspections at a car service in the capital.
„A quality system worked and we ignored the human factor, as well as the possibility of data manipulation being entered manually,”, noted the minister.
He emphasized that a newly appointed working group, created for a period of five days, will make a proposal for regulatory changes. “ On Friday, I expect a report to approve,” said Georgi Gvozdeikov, quoted by BTA.
We remind you that since July 22, the devices at the points transmit the measurement data automatically electronically to the system of the Executive Agency “Automotive Administration”. In this way, the possibilities to manually adjust the data related to the exhaust gases and the braking effort of the cars were discontinued. However, experts have warned that cars, mainly gasoline ones, cannot meet the standards on a large scale.
