The Minister of Education and Science Prof. Galin Tsokov will inspect the renovation of the Humanitarian High School “St. Cyril and Methodius“ in Plovdiv today from 9:00 a.m. Together with him will be the Deputy Mayor for Education Vladimir Temelkov and the Mayor of the “Central” Georgi Stamenov, Dariknews.bg reports.
In the cultural monument building built in the 19th century, the municipality of Plovdiv is carrying out large-scale repair works worth BGN 17 million. Apart from roof repair and replacement of windows and all installations, the building will be restored in the form in which it was built.
The students of the “Knyaz Alexander I” primary school also study here. In total, there are over 2,400 children who use the building in two shifts.
