Former ITN deputy in the 45th and 46th Narodno Petar Dimitrov headed the "Center" party, created by businessman Vasil Bozhkov.
This was announced by Bozhkov himself in a post on Facebook, quoted by BNR.
"CENTER is now officially registered as a political party. Despite the institutions' attempts to stop us. We elected Petar Dimitrov as chairman. Together we will topple the junta and return Bulgaria's independence," he wrote.
In addition to being an MP, Dimitrov was also a parliamentary secretary in the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, a municipal councilor in Silistra. He left ITN in May 2023
