We will support Silvi Kirilov or Nataliya Kiselova for head of the parliament. This is what he said in the show "Face to Face" MP Sevim Ali from the “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” (APC).
„We have a principled solution. You know that last week we had three attempts to elect the Speaker of the National Assembly – unfortunately they were unsuccessful. We voted “for“ the candidates of BSP, ITN and PP-DB. Tomorrow we will vote for the candidacy of Mr. Silvi Kirilov, who is the oldest deputy in this parliament, as well as for Ms. Natalia Kiselova”, he explained.
According to him, the APS will not vote for Raya Nazaryan's candidacy, as there was no “such request from GERB”. In addition, Boyko Borisov's party has refused to sign the proposal for a sanitary cordon around Delyan Peevski, it became clear from his words.
“We, even before DB asked for this sanitary cordon, said that Delyan Peevski is not only a problem of DPS – he is harmful to the state“, Sevim Ali also pointed out.
The MP from APS explained that they are not opponents of GERB, but they insist that Boyko Borisov clearly and categorically define his relations with Delyan Peevski.
Sevim Ali stated that the problems in the party started after Peevski became the chairman of the DPS parliamentary group in the 50th NA and co-chairman of the party.
“Suddenly, decisions began to be made alone. Then we were given the courage by our honorary chairman to return the democratic beginning to the party and for the entire Bulgarian society to see what is happening in the DPS“, he explained.
