The organization of public transport for the Christmas and New Year holidays is changing, the press center of the Sofia Municipality announced, quoted by BTA.
On December 24, 25 and 26, public transport will operate on a holiday schedule.
On December 23, 27, 30 and 31, as well as on January 2 and 3, public transport lines will also operate on holiday schedules, with the exception of metro lines 1, 2, 3 and 4, which will operate on weekday schedules, bus lines X9, X10, 61, 66, 67 (code 105), 83 (code 183), 85, 101, 204 (code 117), 285, 804 and 805, trolleybus lines 1, 7 and 9 and tram lines 6, 8, 10 (code 174) and 22. Bus lines U1, U2, 7, 58, 68, 75 and 294.
As is tradition, on December 31st from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on January 1st, most of the public transport lines will operate - metro lines 1, 2, 3 and 4, bus lines 72, 73, 83, 85, trolleybus lines 1, 2, 7, 9 and tram lines 5, 7, 8, 27, 10, 11, 18, 20 and 22.
The Sofia Municipality also informed that the organization of traffic for the celebration of a festive service in the memorial temple “St. Alexander Nevsky“ is changing.
