An unnecessary political exercise. A parliamentary group cannot be disbanded like this. The only thing that may have been achieved is a slight increase in the rating of MECH. In recent days, we have been watching a storm in a teacup.
This was stated in the program "Denyat na Zievo" on NOVA NEWS by former interior minister Prof. Veselin Vuchkov, who commented on the case with MECH and the reform in the Ministry of Interior.
"The government based on support in parliament seems stable. That is not how things are based on public opinion. In my opinion, the Council of Ministers itself feels that there is tension.
What kind of reform is it to make state shops? None. The same applies to the Ministry of Interior. A lot of time was wasted to make some reform. Currently, a new employee in the Ministry of Interior will receive about 2,500 leva.
Employees with more experience will receive over 3,500 leva. Currently, the situation is such that there are many bosses and few ordinary employees. We, as taxpayers, must demand this reform. If reform does not happen, the Ministry of Interior may have to be reformed. The painful issue of pensioners in the Ministry of Interior must be resolved. Believe me, the employees in my beloved Ministry of Interior themselves also want reform.
Currently, 4 billion leva will go only for salaries and insurance in the Ministry of Interior. This is a huge amount," revealed Prof. Vuchkov.
