Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov will lead the traditional Bulgarian pilgrimage delegation to Mount Athos for the feast of the monastery “St. Martyr George Zograf”. Representatives of the executive, legislative and local authorities, as well as the civil sector and business are included.
During the visit to Mount Athos on May 5-6, the members of the Bulgarian delegation will hold a meeting with the spiritual leadership of Mount Athos, will participate in the evening and night services, in the Holy Liturgy, as well as in the liturgy with the icon of the Holy Great Martyr George – Zograf.
