Ivaylo Mirchev: This is sabotage against Bulgaria, Radev will also have to answer for his actions in the “Botas” affair - 1

It must be clear that Bulgaria will enter the eurozone and we will do everything possible to make this happen in order to protect the country's national interest. This was said by the MP from "Continuing the Change - "Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB) Ivaylo Mirchev during a press conference at the BTA National Press Club in Dobrich, which was attended by the MP from Dobrich region Svilen Trifonov and municipal councilors Milena Keranova and Nadezhda Pamporova.

The press conference was also attended by the leader of "Yes, Bulgaria" in Kavarna Dean Dukov, as well as the chairman of the Dobrich structure Ivaylo Lazarov.

At the beginning of the press conference, Ivaylo Mirchev again expressed his opinion that President Rumen Radev's statement about a referendum is sabotage against Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone.“The President will have to answer why he launched this initiative for a new referendum. Is this not related to the currently ongoing investigation into the “Botas” affair, with which Bulgaria lost billions of dollars? In addition to being responsible to Bulgarian citizens for his actions in recent days, he will have to answer for his actions regarding the “Botas” affair, the MP also said.

Ivaylo Mirchev also commented on the topic of the four municipal councilors from the “We continue the change” quota, who left the PP-DB coalition group in the Municipal Council - Dobrich at the last regular meeting. “When a politician takes one or another step, he must explain it to the citizens. They owe an honest answer”, he said.

MP Svilen Trifonov explained that active work is being done on local problems in the entire Dobrich region. “As a MP, I have submitted dozens of questions on topics related to road infrastructure, problems in the water and sanitation sector, which are rapidly worsening and the state is not counteracting this in any way”, he added.
