Folk singer Azis said in an interview with bTV that he supports the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria and would vote positively if a referendum were held on the topic.

"I am not afraid of the euro, as I am a person who copes in all situations. I think that the euro will help and if there is a referendum, I would vote "for" the euro," the performer shared.

In the conversation, the singer also expressed his concerns about the problems in society. "I am angry about the violence, discrimination, nepukism. Now I looked at the people from the capital's public transport and I was mentally with them. Now the librarians are protesting. They were given only a 10 leva salary increase. People who work for the Bulgarian language. It hurts me, it hurts me," he commented.

Azis also spoke out against corruption, defining it as "something very scary" and "the beginning of horror". According to him, it makes people dependent and it is better to be poor but independent.

In the interview, the performer also talked about his musical career and his appearance. "The way I look now is me. I am an artist. When I am in the state of a person who is in the mood for a work, I become more colorful, which is normal, this is an artistic nature," he explained.

He also revealed his plans for a concert on February 14 next year, sharing that he does not know if he will be able to meet the audience's expectations for costumes with feathers and sequins. "I don't know if I'll be able to give it to them, I don't know if I'm ready for feathers and sequins, although there's no age limit for art - you either can or you can't", said Azis.

The singer also commented on voting in elections, saying that he always votes when he's in Bulgaria. "I always vote when I'm at home. When I'm not in America, I vote. I go with neighbors because we live in different districts", he said.
